IceCave B.V. highly values your privacy; therefore, your personal data is processed and secured with care. This privacy statement explains what personal data IceCave B.V. collects, for what purpose, and with whom it may be shared.
The person responsible for processing the personal data within the meaning of the law is Jakub Dróżdż operating independently under the name IceCave B.V., located in Beneluxstraat 57, 4551TJ Sas van Gent.
1) When does this privacy statement apply?
This privacy statement applies to all personal data that IceCave B.V. processes from its service users. By using the website and/or IceCave B.V.’s services, you consent to the processing of your personal data as described in this privacy statement. *Personal data in the context of Art. 4 EU GDPR: any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
Children under 16 are only included in the customer database with parental/guardian consent. Parents/guardians can revoke their consent, and we will then delete the child’s personal data.
2) What data is collected and why?
For the provision of its services, it is necessary for IceCave B.V. to collect and store a number of legally protected personal data. Below is an overview of the personal data we process:

– Gender
– Date of birth
– Birthplace
– Address details
– Marital Status
– Phone number
– E-mail address
– Bank account number
– Social Security and Chamber of Commerce number
3) What is the purpose of processing your personal data?
IceCave B.V. processes your personal data for the following purposes:
- To call or email you if necessary to provide our services or respond to your query (through a contact form on our website or by telephone);
- To handle your payment;
- To send our newsletter and/or advertising brochure;
- To allow you to create an account;
- To deliver goods and services to you;
- To inform you about changes to our services and products;
- To correctly execute the agreement;
- IceCave B.V. also processes personal data when legally required, such as for our tax return.

4) How long is the personal data stored?
Your personal data is stored no longer than is reasonably necessary to provide services and meet legal obligations. In practice, this means that your data is kept for as long as your inquiry is being answered (following a contact form submission) or as long as you are a customer with us, and thereafter only if legally required in the financial administration for up to 7 years.
5) Disclosure to third parties
The personal data you provide to IceCave B.V. may be disclosed to third parties only with your consent and if necessary for the execution of the purposes described above and/or legal obligations (e.g., correct performance of the contract, administrative and/or fiscal retention obligations). IceCave B.V. never passes your personal data to other parties without a processing agreement. Necessary arrangements are made with these parties (processors) to ensure the security of your personal data.
6) How is your data protected?
IceCave B.V. handles your personal data with care, taking appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect it against loss, destruction, or unlawful use.
Data is stored on secure computers, in password-protected folders, and on external drives or mobile phones. All data carriers are equipped with the latest security software and are regularly updated. If personal data is collected beyond the described digital storage, it is kept in a lock-secured cabinet. Third parties do not have access to these data.IceCave B.V. is required to report any data breaches in a data breach register. Significant breaches likely to affect personal privacy must be reported to the Personal Data Authority.

7) Newsletter
Our newsletter informs customers about recent developments that may be relevant to their business operations and about courses organized by our company and our partners. 8) Own marketing
We use a mechanism to recover abandoned carts in our store. If you begin the checkout process but do not complete it, our system will notice and take actions aimed at encouraging you to complete the purchase. These actions may include sending an email with an incentive or displaying targeted advertisements while you browse the internet.
9) Access, correction, and deletion
You have the right to request access to your personal data from IceCave B.V. at any time. You can also request IceCave B.V. to correct, supplement, delete, or block your personal data if it is incorrect, incomplete, or irrelevant, or otherwise processed in violation of a legal requirement. If allowed by law, IceCave B.V. ensures that your data (or part of it) is deleted or modified within 10 working days.
